I'm back!
Wow. So it's been awhile since I've posted. and so much has changed. I am now a mother of
three children; an eight year old, a two year old and a six month old.
Whew!- they sure keep me busy. I stopped competing when I got pregnant with my two year old - but have continued to work out for both pregnancies. I feel I stayed in decent shape throughout both the pregnancies and kept the weight gain to a healthy amount. However, two pregnancies back to back has definitely been a challenge. I have definitely lost some muscle tone and shape and I'm ready to get it back.
Now as I start to prepare to compete for the first time in two years- I definitely have my work cut out for me. My goal is to get my body in the best shape of my life. I plan to chronicle my in-shape program here in my journal. Today is day one. Step one is to clean up my diet- cutting down portions, removing processed food and simple sugars and going back to the basics. Hello oatmeal, egg whites, chicken breast, sweet potatoes and veggies! During te pregnancies I definitely got relaxed in this area and it's time to tighten the reigns.
